water lines cannot be hidden. HDB rules do not allow it. some ppl still do that. but when you wanna sell you apartment and when the appraiser came , they'll ask you to hack the cover up or disqualify you to sell or fine you for hiding them.
U Kaung.. I personally think it is not a big deal if the hidden pipe lines inside the bathroom are newly installed. For those old pipes that are hidden just to disguise their ugliness, then I think there should be some problem during valuation process.
